Anne-Catrin Uhlemann
Anne-Catrin Uhlemann, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Biomedical Core. She is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her research focuses on antimicrobial resistance in Gram-negative bacteria and their interaction with the gut microbiome. Her work has identified novel pathways of resistance to last-line antibiotics. She is now extending her research to focus on antimicrobial resistance in Urinary Tract Infections.
